Have you watched Food, Inc. or read any of Michael Pollan&#039;s books?

You can make your own yogurt without a yogurt maker.  I tried it a few weeks ago in the crock pot and as long as you&#039;re going to be home every couple hours (good weekend recipe) it&#039;s super easy and no special equipment needed.

If you can make kambucha (something I haven&#039;t tried quite yet) you can make yogurt.</description>
