Moments, Day Two.

Give me an excuse to take photos, and by god, I surely will. I don’t have a fabulous digital camera right now, sadly, and my very nice Canon 7e (35mm) sits absolutely unused.

Still, I took about a dozen pictures last night, went to upload them… and our stinking, crappy internet failed. For the entire night and into the morning.

Thus, only two photos uploaded.

When I walk into Mike Neir’s office, this is what I see – except the other computers aren’t turned on, and you can’t see the monitor to the farthest left.

Sumi is unenthusiastic about having a camera pointed at her – I think she hates the flash, and I can’t blame her, whatever her reasoning. Someone points a camera at me, and I am physically incapable of looking like a normal human. The episode of “Friends” wherein Chandler tries to smile for a portrait? THAT’S ME!! Poor Sue. Even her ears are all cattywampus.

I’m pretty stinking impressed there were no visible giant black wads of dog hair on the floor – that’s a rare thing.

I have other, more interesting shots – perhaps we’ll have tubes when we get home tonight.

I also have actual quilting content to post, but work first.

Ooooh, actual quilting content! :D Sweeeeeet.

I’m putting together that little Downy Quilts for Kids kit today. I sometimes wish I had a blog to post finished pics and stuff on, but I already know I would be a bad blogger and only post things like 2 or 3 times a month. And no one would ever bookmark it because it would be so boring; updated so little. I can’t think of anything better than to just put them on Facebook for those few people to see. LOL!

I still haven’t put my kid quilt together, or even cut it up yet. I really need to get on that.

Part of the beauty of blogging is no one makes you do anything you don’t want to do – you’re in control! And with the advent of RSS feeds, people don’t have to go to the effort of surfing to your site, only to see nothing new. They see new stuff when it appears.

    I’d read it, totally.

Hahaha! I’ve seen RSS Feed around ‘an about, but I really don’t know what it is.

So I have a Traveller’s Point “blog” diary thing for the time we were in Hawaii. People could literally click a link that said Subscribe and enter their email address… so every time I posted an entry, they would get 1 email telling them about it. Is that what an RSS feed is?
